We're reaching out to all the churches and marketplace leaders in the community to get involved with us. Here is a list of possibilities:
- Continue your involvement in unified prayer for transformation in Cleveland and Bradley County.
- Join us in our weekly City-Wide Prayer Meetings as we meet each Friday at noon in various churches and community organizations
- Invite the City-Wide Prayer Team to come to your church or place of business for a one-hour prayer meeting some time this year.
- If you represent a church, community organization or business, please prayerfully consider putting Cleveland Net on your community outreach budget for 2008. We need to raise our budget of $7,000 for the Global Day of Prayer before the event so that we can give the offering that night to help build a house for Habitat for Humanity.
- Sponsor a billboard announcing Global Day of Prayer. ($250)
- Contact Us to see discuss ways of getting involved.
Dear Friends,
Global Day of Prayer was outstanding. Thanks to all who helped to make it a great success. Many pastors, churches, marketplace leaders and community organizations participated. From beginning to end, there was a great sense of unity and faith in the meeting. We know the spiritual atmosphere of the world has to be affected by the gatherings of hundreds of millions of believers all over the world.
We would like to express appreciation to the Global Day of Prayer Planning Committee and to its Chairman, Pastor Michael Obi. Thanks also to North Cleveland Church of God for hosting the event again this year. Pastor Mitch Maloney, Pastor Brian Barnett, Mrs. Carol Abear and many others provided flawless logistical support.
The Community Choir was outstanding. Many thanks to Director Quanda Ross and to all the members of the choir and orchestra. The life of the Holy Spirit was definitely present in the music. The drama team did a fantastic job. Thanks to Drama Coordinator Nancy Clark and all the young people on the team. We
appreciate all who helped.
We believe the 90 Days of Blessing will be greater than ever this year. Brenda Hughes, Director of BICC, is directing the effort to collect and distribute food to the needy in our community. Food can be taken to your church or BICC or to any of the food distribution agencies in our community. Let’s all work together to make the 90 Days of Blessing a great success.
Glory to God! May God receive all he glory and praise.
Blessings,

Larry Cockerham
